We Fix Other People’s Work
Pole Barn Loft Reinforcement
Problem
This pole barn loft was built without proper structural support. Over 1000 pounds of lumber was “secured” with 20 deck screws and 2 4x4 posts.
Solution
We replaced the deck screws with lag bolts, removed the 4x4s and installed 5 notched 6x6 supports.
Plumbing Predicement
Problem
Bar bathrooms take a beating. This toilet had a broken flange and was “fixed” by placing an air-filled balloon between the tank and the wall.
Solution
We removed the toilet, cut out the broken flange and installed a metal bracket tapped into the concrete.
